Job summary

Isilumko Staffing is assisting a well‑established client in identifying a Supplier Accreditation Specialist for a 6‑month contract. The role focuses on leading accreditation processes, maintaining compliant supplier records, and driving continuous improvements in supplier management practice.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality management and at least four years in supplier accreditation or related fields, with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or quality management or related field.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in supplier accreditation or supplier management.
• Experience assessing supplier compliance against legislation and standards.
• Ability to develop and improve accreditation systems and work instructions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience reviewing applications and preparing accreditation reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead accreditation processes and assess supplier plans within the accreditation strategy.
• Maintain an accredited bidders list and approve assessment reports.
• Conduct annual reviews and drive continuous improvement in accreditation programs.
• Measure accreditation performance, cycle times and register accuracy.
• Document processes and oversee supplier screening with stakeholders.
• Align accreditation initiatives with broader supplier management strategies.
