The role supports operations across Limpopo and beyond from a remote setup. You will manage supplier relationships, develop sourcing strategies, and drive significant cost savings while ensuring resilience in the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their fully remote procurement team. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and engaging with suppliers to secure the best value in terms of cost, quality, and service for the company. You will conduct in-depth market analysis, develop sourcing strategies, and lead complex negotiation processes. Working remotely, you will have the autonomy to manage your workload effectively, driving significant impact on the company's bottom line and supply chain resilience, contributing to operations across Limpopo and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for key categories of spend.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and supplier analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost reductions and improved terms.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure effective collaboration.
• Create and manage detailed sourcing documentation, including RFPs, contracts, and performance scorecards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful sourcing strategies and deliver significant cost savings.
• Expertise in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market analysis tools and techniques.
