Time Personnel is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Gauteng to source signage materials, negotiate with suppliers, and support design and production teams. The role emphasizes cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery within a manufacturing/print environment.

The ideal candidate will have Matric with purchasing experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software is required.

• Matric with at least two years' purchasing experience.
• Experience buying within manufacturing or print/signage sector.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

• Highly organized and results-driven; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify reliable suppliers for signage materials.
• Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors.
• Collaborate with design and production teams on technical requirements.
• Track inventory and maintain procurement records.
• Develop procurement strategies to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
• Build supplier relationships and negotiate best pricing.
• Process requisitions and update management on order status.
• Update inventory and maintain stock levels.
• Arrange transport and track orders for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with inventory, management, and stockroom as required.
• Assess stock quality and escalate discrepancies to suppliers and management.
• Travel as required.
• Assist Project Managers with technical advice.
• Communicate stock delays to factory manager.
• Source new suppliers.
• Attend ADHOC projects as required.
• Adhere to high ethical and professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure workspace is kept neat.
