Purpose

This role focuses on generating new business for IDEMIA through customer acquisition and product launches.

Key Missions
  • Develop a strong understanding of the eco-system within the respective scope.
  • Define a go-to-market strategy.
  • Prospect and build an opportunity pipeline by actively monitoring legislation, budgets, and calls for tenders.
  • Utilize a 'green field' approach based on personal network, LinkedIn, or events.
  • Observe an existing account sales manager for advanced offers.
  • Conduct commercial pitches.
  • Analyze the competitive environment to establish a pricing strategy.
  • Act as a business expert and a reference point for a product line to support account managers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure deal feasibility and obtain necessary approvals (technical and commercial offers).
  • Handle tailored offer submissions and iterations.
  • Close deals and coordinate implementation.
  • Transfer customer relationships to the account management team.
  • Drive small to mid-size deals autonomously (considering deal value, complexity, and customer impact), shadowed by an experienced or senior business development manager for larger deals.
  • Coordinate technical and commercial offer development.
  • Define and implement deal strategies, ensuring deliverables are approved by internal stakeholders (solution architect, pricing, sales management).
  • Build a solid understanding of our products.
  • Present autonomously to customers for smaller or mid-size deals.
  • Engage with customer decision-makers for small to mid-size deals, shadowed by a senior business development manager for larger deals.
