The role focuses on defining product assortment, negotiating with suppliers, and driving profitability through strategic planning, market analysis, and vendor relationships. A hybrid work arrangement is offered in South Africa.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Retail Buyer.
• Strong understanding of merchandising, product assortment planning, and inventory management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and source new products and suppliers that align with market trends and customer preferences.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve optimal cost efficiencies.
• Develop and manage the product assortment strategy for various retail channels.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions.
• Manage inventory levels and plan product promotions to drive sales and minimize markdowns.
