Discovery Limited seeks a Pricing and New Business Analyst to manage quotes and analysis for employee benefits, ensuring timely processing and profitability. The role supports sales, servicing, and renewal teams while coordinating with reinsurers on facultative quotes.

The successful candidate will perform risk assessments, data analysis, and reporting, using Power BI and Excel, with a focus on accuracy and SLA compliance. An insurance background is preferred.

Qualificações

• Matric required; BCom with Mathematics or Statistics in first year preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience is essential.
• Minimum 2 years in Group Risk Pricing and data analysis.
• Excel at an intermediary level.
• Insurance industry qualification advantageous.
• Power BI and Visual Basic skills advantageous.
• Knowledge of insurance industry trends and underwriter objectives advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Risk assessment and analysis for quotes for groups with <=400 members and API under R2 million.
• Processing of employee benefit quotes – Group Risk and Retirement.
• Support the New Business sales team and Servicing consultants.
• Assist renewal team with analysis and quotes.
• Process and issue quotes within SLA.
• Ensure data is complete and discrepancies are resolved.
• In-depth analysis of risk rates and free cover limits for decision making.
• Quality processing and analysis of small scheme profiles per SOP.
• Conform to SLA with stakeholders; provide quality service to BCs and SCs.
• Respond to and resolve queries from stakeholders and reinsurers for facultative quotes.
