Job summary

Merchant West is seeking a Portfolio Manager to work closely with business units to support deal execution, manage risk and identify opportunities for portfolio growth. The role involves monitoring client exposure, maintaining ongoing client relationships and ensuring compliance with credit policies.

You will lead portfolio performance reviews, engage with clients, support deal structuring, and ensure accurate reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree with Finance and/or Mathematics, Accounting as subject(s).
• 4+ years experience in a client facing role with a financial background/solution selling.
• Relationships and client/dealer base within the sector.
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor a portfolio of client facilities to ensure asset quality and performance.
• Track exposures, repayment behavior and overall portfolio health.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure service delivery.
• Support deal structuring and execution within the portfolio.
• Prepare portfolio reports and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies and governance.
