Standard Bank Group is seeking a Business Partner in People & Culture for Group Functions, Compliance in Johannesburg. You will provide end-to-end P&C partner support, delivering advisory guidance to senior stakeholders and enabling a sustainable people experience aligned with business goals.

The role requires 5–7 years in People & Culture, with a track record in multinational environments, and strong capabilities in change management and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years experience in People & Culture, with strong preference to a partnering role.
• Experience within a multinational company working with senior management teams in a complex environment.
• Track record of implementing integrated People & Culture solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Understanding of how People & Culture adds value to business performance and social relevance.
• Knowledge of the full People & Culture value chain and stakeholder engagement to enable a partner ecosystem.
• Support to align BU strategy with broader P&C strategy and plan communication/implementation.
• Monitor headcount, costs and key People metrics; raise concerns at relevant forums.
• Collaborate with finance and operations on workforce planning within budget.
• Identify data sources to gain insights and use predictive analytics to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end People & Culture business partner support for Group Functions, Compliance.
• Deliver advisory support to stakeholders within allocated portfolios to drive People experience and business objectives.
• Assist in organizational design and change management initiatives within the portfolio.
• Develop insights from data to anticipate risks and suggest mitigation plans.
