Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an Integration Architecture Specialist for a 6-month contract. The role will build and own the Integration Service, establish standards and development methodologies for integration platforms, and lead the overall solution architecture for ICC.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration solutions, stay current with emerging technologies, and help mature the organization’s middleware strategy across projects.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) required.
• Undergraduate qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in IM discipline.
• Desirable: postgraduate qualification in the IM discipline or extensive practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the overall Integration Service.
• Define standards, policies and development methodologies for integration platforms.
• Develop integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features on integration platforms and own overall solution architecture for the ICC.
• Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business.
• Plan, design, and develop the integration solutions with project teams.
• Develop the integration platforms, development standards and procedures as well as architectures for services and code reuse.
• Stay up to date with best practice in emerging Integration technologies; act as internal consultant and trusted advisor for integration requirements.
• Oversee ICC projects, including planning, resource allocation, steering committee leadership, and team structure management.
• Estimate the technical costs of projects for stakeholders and project managers, confer with stakeholders to identify requirements and determine outcomes for design of the system or alternative solutions.
