Placements24 is seeking a versatile In-house Legal Counsel to join our Centurion team. The role covers corporate, commercial, employment, and IP matters, with a focus on practical, business‑oriented solutions and risk management.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, manage IP portfolios, oversee litigation where needed, and help implement policies ensuring regulatory compliance. A qualified attorney with 6+ years' experience, ideally in-house or at a top firm, is required.

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with High Court status and 6+ years' experience.
• Strong corporate, contract negotiation, and IP knowledge.
• Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
• Excellent analytical and workload management capabilities.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate, commercial, and employment law.
• Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of contracts and legal agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
• Manage intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and patents.
