Labournet seeks an experienced Human Capital Manager to own the HC function, partner with the CEO/Exco, and drive strategy into action in a people‑centric, operational environment. The role requires 10+ years in HR/HC, with at least 5 years in senior management and deep BBBEE/EE expertise.

You will lead learning, development, succession planning and payroll governance while building a strong HC team and shaping culture across the Western Cape. Afrikaans and English fluency are essential.

Formación

• Relevant HR, Human Capital or related degree.
• 10+ years’ broad HR/HC Generalist experience, with at least 5 years at senior management level.
• Strong experience across BBBEE/EE, transformation, employee relations, learning and development, succession planning, performance management, talent and change management.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, policies, governance and payroll processes.
• Experience leading and developing an HC/HR team.
• Experience in wholesale, logistics, transport, fuel/energy, distribution, manufacturing, FMCG, retail, automotive, agri-processing or a similar operational environment.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

• Lead and manage the Human Capital function, providing both strategic and hands-on support to the business.
• Partner with the CEO, Exco and leadership team on people and business priorities.
• Drive BBBEE, Employment Equity, transformation and change management initiatives.
• Lead learning and development, talent management and succession planning.
• Oversee employee relations, engagement, performance and culture.
• Ensure effective HC policies, governance, compliance and payroll oversight.
• Lead, develop and empower the HC team.
• Provide practical, commercially focused HC advice across the organisation.
