Job summary

Marvel Placement Consultants is seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to lead the company’s financial function, develop robust processes, and support strategic decisions. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, budgeting, and reporting capabilities within a manufacturing/production context.

The candidate should bring extensive experience with Pastel Evolution and Excel, and be able to translate financial data into actionable insights for management.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in a senior financial role (Financial Manager or similar).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin or related field is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience within printing/manufacturing or production environment is highly advantageous.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and applicable financial legislation.
• Strong working knowledge of Pastel Evolution and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Solid experience with budgets, forecasts, financial planning and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the management and administration of the company’s financial function.
• Develop and maintain financial processes and controls that support the organisation’s operational and commercial objectives.
• Assist senior management with financial planning and strategic decision-making.
• Monitor the company’s financial position and provide recommendations where required.
• Coordinate budgets and forecasts, monitor expenditures and identify cost efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, accounting standards and company policies.
• Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments.
