Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in ACCPAC Accounting software is essential.
• Experience in preparing monthly management accounts and management reports.
• Experience with VAT, tax computations and provisions, annual audits and stock counts.
• Strong cash-flow management and forecasting skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in all levels of financial management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial analysis and reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and monthly management reports for senior management.
• Calculate and submit VAT returns and assist with tax provisions and other tax requirements.
• Assist external auditors with information and stock counts during audits.
• Utilise ACCPAC Accounting software for financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Engage in day-to-day financial activities and ensure accurate, efficient task completion.
• Collaborate with the management team to support business objectives with financial insight.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
