Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential).
• Honours Degree in Accounting (advantageous).
• CTA qualification (beneficial).
• Minimum 3 years' commercial experience post articles.
• Previous experience in transport or manufacturing sector is essential.
• Advanced Excel with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Working knowledge of Sage is required.
• Strong analytical and commercially-minded approach.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts payable function and related processes.
• Review, assess, and authorise financial reconciliations.
• Partner with revenue to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage and support operational finance activities.
• Compile, interpret, and present financial reporting.
• Ensure all reporting deadlines are met timeously.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis and business support to senior management.
• Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
