Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd seeks a skilled Financial Manager to lead the full finance and accounting function in Witbank/Emalahleni, reporting to the CEO. This role covers budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance for a mining operation.

You will manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate audits, monitor cash flow, and provide financial input into operational planning, with a focus on cost control and inventory accuracy in coal mining environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Experience in cost management, financial accounting and auditing.
• Ability to lead budgeting, reporting and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full finance and accounting function, prepare management accounts, lead budgeting processes, analyse costs and monitor cash-flow.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and oversee audits and procurement reviews.
• Provide financial input into operational planning and manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Maintain coal mining-specific controls: monitor costs, processing, equipment and inventory reconciliation.
