The role requires CA(SA)/CIMA/SAIPA with 6+ years in finance, leadership of a small team, and strong IFRS for SMEs knowledge to drive profitability. On-site role with broad budgeting and forecasting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA(SA), CIMA or SAIPA with registration as Commissioner of Oaths.
• At least 6 years' finance experience, including leadership.
• Experience across multiple entities / group structures.
• Strong month-end, management accounts, consolidation and intercompany experience.
• Sound IFRS for SMEs knowledge and SA regulatory/compliance awareness.
• Practical SARS, VAT, PAYE and income tax understanding.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling ability.
• Strong commercial and analytical aptitude with pricing, costing and profitability focus.
• Advanced Excel and broad systems capability.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the finance function across the group.
• Oversee month-end, management accounts, financial reporting and group consolidation.
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure accurate group reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Develop financial models and provide analysis to senior management.
• Provide commercial insight into pricing, costing, margins and profitability.
• Support senior management with financial decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and tax obligations (SARS, VAT, PAYE, income tax).
• Coordinate audits with external auditors and advisors.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury activities and financial risk.
• Strengthen financial controls, processes and systems.
• Maintain oversight of debtors, creditors and payroll.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and efficiency.
