Job summary

CA Support is seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to oversee the company’s financial function and deliver accurate reporting with strategic commercial input. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and KPI development in a predominantly agricultural/production environment, guiding decision‑making and sustaining growth.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years post‑article experience, 2–3 years in management, strong Excel and ERP skills, and bilingual English/Afrikaans communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and professional qualifications if applicable.
• Minimum 5 years' post-article experience in a financial management role.
• 2–3 years' leadership/management experience.
• Experience in agriculture, fruit production, packing, manufacturing, or similar environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full financial function of the business.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports.
• Maintain and improve financial systems, procedures, controls and accounting processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Monitor the cost chain, analyse variances and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse costs and profitability and identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and margins.
• Develop and monitor relevant financial and operational KPIs and management reporting.
• Provide financial analysis, insights and decision support to operational and executive management.
• Manage working capital requirements, including cash flow forecasting and funding requirements.
• Prepare financial statements and coordinate the annual audit process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to management.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls and overall business performance.
• Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering accountability and professional development.
