Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• 3+ years' post-articles experience.
• Mining industry experience will be highly advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, tax, cash flow management and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Financial Accountants.
• Oversee the day-to-day financial accounting operations.
• Review and approve financial transactions while resolving complex accounting matters.
• Prepare and review annual financial statements in IFRS.
• Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Produce management accounts, executive reports and financial presentations.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and provide strategic financial insights.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cost management initiatives.
• Manage corporate income tax, VAT and royalty tax compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure statutory compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
• Oversee stock reporting, fixed asset management and payroll reviews.
• Partner with key stakeholders across the business to support informed decision-making.
