Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa's North West province seeks a dynamic Program Director to lead all youth-focused programs in Rustenburg and surrounding areas. This senior role shapes strategic direction, oversees implementation, and ensures programs are impactful and scalable to advance the foundation's mission.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in program management, preferably in youth development or non-profit settings.
• Proven track record of successful program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing budgets and financial resources effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing youth in Rustenburg, North West.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all youth development programs.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of new and existing programs.
• Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, and government agencies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program staff and managers.
• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support program growth and sustainability.
• Represent the organization at relevant conferences, meetings, and public forums.
