Old Mutual South Africa seeks a seasoned data governance leader to establish and drive the Credit Data Governance capability. You will shape governance, quality, and integrity of key credit and investment data across a sophisticated investment environment, partnering with Credit, Portfolio Management, Risk, Operations, Technology and Group Risk.

You will lead governance frameworks, data quality standards, and accountability structures to support risk, regulatory reporting and business decisions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Professional certification in Data Governance, Data Management or Risk Management would be advantageous (e.g. DAMA, DCAM, CDMP).
• Minimum 8-10 years' experience within financial services, banking, insurance, asset management or risk management environments required.
• Exposure to credit risk, investment management or portfolio management environments required.
• Proven experience implementing data governance, data management or data quality frameworks required.
• Experience developing policies, standards and governance operating models required.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability, including engagement with senior leadership and governance committees required

Responsabilidades

• Develop and lead the Credit Data Governance Framework and policies.
• Define governance ownership, stewardship and accountability across the business.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, risk frameworks and governance standards.
• Lead data quality frameworks and remediation of data issues.
• Partner with investment, risk and portfolio management teams for analytics and reporting.
• Present insights and governance reporting to senior management.
