Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Cost Accountant to join a dynamic manufacturing environment in Midrand. You will provide accurate costing information, analyse variances and support strategic financial decisions to drive profitability.

The role focuses on product and standard costing, cost and margin analysis, budgeting support, and collaboration with production, procurement and finance teams. Strong Excel skills and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with costing, budgeting or cost control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with large data sets and complex Excel models.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain product and standard costing.
• Analyse cost variances and investigate key drivers.
• Perform cost and margin analysis across products and operations.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts and financial planning.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, overheads and production expenses.
• Prepare monthly costing and management reports.
• Assist with stock valuation and inventory reconciliations.
• Analyse production performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, procurement and finance teams.
• Provide financial insights to management to support profitability.
