Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to SA laws, regulations and internal policies. You will develop, implement and monitor compliance programs, identify risks, and advise management to preserve the company’s integrity.

The role requires a legal or business background with at least 5 years in compliance or legal duties and a solid understanding of POPIA and the Companies Act.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a corporate compliance or legal role.
• Strong knowledge of SA laws (POPIA, Companies Act) and regulatory frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement corporate compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments across all departments.
• Monitor changes in legislation and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Provide training to employees on compliance and ethics.
• Investigate breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulators.
