Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a CFO/Finance Director to lead the finance function, shaping the organisation's financial strategy and ensuring long-term stability. You will oversee accounting, planning, risk management, reporting, and compliance while partnering with the board and senior leadership.

The role demands CA(SA) or equivalent, 10+ years in financial management with 5+ in senior roles, and strong expertise in IFRS/GAAP, budgeting, and governance. An MBA or Masters is advantageous.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or internationally recognised equivalent (CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
• BCom or equivalent degree; Masters or MBA advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, reporting, regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the companys financial strategy, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitor financial performance.
• Oversee accurate, timely reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, board packs, and statutory filings.
• Lead treasury, cash flow, working capital, and capital investment management.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, SARS, SARB, the Companies Act, B-BBEE, and all relevant regulations.
• Manage internal controls, risk frameworks, audits, and corporate governance.
• Provide oversight of procurement and sustainability reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
• Support investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and system improvements.
