Job summary

WSP Africa seeks a Strategic Asset Management Lead to establish and grow the advisory capability across asset strategy, lifecycle planning, and portfolio optimization. You will engage with asset owners, investors, and government bodies to deliver high-value advisory solutions and strengthen client relationships.

The role focuses on developing methodologies, leading governance, and building a high-performing team in a hybrid work environment in Africa.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Built Environment, or related.
Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Proven leadership in strategic asset management and advisory services.
Experience winning consulting work and client relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead development and growth of WSP Africa's Strategic Asset Management service line.
Develop advisory methodologies, tools, frameworks, and service offerings.
Establish governance, quality assurance, and technical excellence across the service line.
Lead advisory engagements: SAMPs, Asset Policies, and Asset Lifecycle Planning.
Drive portfolio optimization, risk & resilience planning, and asset intelligence initiatives.
Oversee project governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement to ensure success.
