Academy of Digital Arts seeks a storyteller to capture what is happening inside the academy and turn it into fast content for social channels. The role uses AI tools to edit and schedule posts, with on-site shooting at 186 Bree Street, Cape Town.

Expect about 8 hours per week as an independent contractor, starting immediately and running through February 2027, with potential extension. You will produce at least seven pieces weekly across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and LinkedIn,

Qualifications

• Storytelling instinct to spot moments for posts.
• Strong visual taste to craft engaging content.
• Capable of shooting and editing short-form video on a phone.
• Know-how to create hooks tailored to each platform.
• Comfort with AI tools such as Claude to speed up edits.
• Experience using scheduling tools (Blotato, Buffer or Later).
• Self-managing and reliable to run a week without supervision.

Responsabilités

• Capture studio moments and student work on-site for weekly posts across multiple platforms.
• Produce content in batches from templates, using AI for editing and captions.
• Create four core story themes: Concept Art, Game Development, Graphic Design, UX/UI.
• Measure performance weekly and adjust content strategy accordingly.
• Ensure student artwork remains unaltered while using AI for animation.
