Job summary

ACDC Dynamics South Africa is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehousing activities, including receiving, storage, picking, dispatching, security and sanitation.

You will lead, train and evaluate staff, ensure accuracy of inventory and shipments, and collaborate with other departments to maintain high service levels and improve processes. This pivotal role requires hands-on leadership to meet performance targets and support company growth.

Responsibilities

• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
• Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
• Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
• Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to contribute to our company’s objectives.

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. The warehouse manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. You will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share
