Job summary

Masterparts in Kenilworth is seeking a Stores Person to manage warehouse stock and despatch activities. The role requires accurate stock control, physical fitness for lifting heavy items, and the ability to stand or walk for long periods.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday with alternating Saturdays, have basic computer literacy, and prefer knowledge of automotive aftermarket stock and safety practices. A forklift license and safety certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have high accuracy with stock numbers.
• Able to perform physically demanding work including lifting and long hours standing/walking.
• Experience in automotive aftermarket knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience in a medium to large warehouse is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Offload stock and prepare goods for despatch.
• Check and verify goods received against orders.
• Move bulk inventory within the warehouse and to loading areas.

We require someone who is very accurate with stock numbers. You must be in good health and can do physically demanding work, especially lifting and carrying heavy stock items and spending long hours standing or walking.

• Prior knowledge and experience in the automotive aftermarket are advantageous.
• Product knowledge of automotive aftermarket spares is advantageous.
• Experience in a medium to large warehouse is beneficial.
• Experience working in a busy despatch is beneficial.
• General mechanical/technical knowledge is beneficial.
• Computer Literacy is advantageous.
• A valid forklift license is beneficial.
• Health and Safety, First Aid, and Firefighting certifications are advantageous.
