The Opportunity

Are you a young, vibrant, and highly organised individual with a knack for logistics? Vision Elevators is seeking a dedicated Storeman / Driver / Forklift Operator to play a crucial role in managing our stock and ensuring timely deliveries. If you have strong administrative and communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

As our Storeman / Driver / Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Stock Management: Overseeing all incoming and outgoing stock in our warehouse.
  • Inventory Control: Managing the ordering of low stock levels and conducting quarterly stock takes and cycle counts.
  • Logistics Coordination: Planning and coordinating all factory and site deliveries efficiently.
  • Asset Management: Managing branch tools and conducting regular vehicle checks.
  • Procurement Support: Assisting with and processing ad-hoc procurement requirements.
  • Damaged Returns: Managing the return of damaged parts to the factory.
  • Site Assessment: Assessing site conditions for offloading, including:
    • Forklift Requirements: Informing Procurement if a forklift is needed, with approval from the Factory Manager after obtaining two quotes.
    • Labour Requirements: Following the full approval process for "tog labour" (temporary labour), ensuring construction teams are not used without prior approval from the Construction Manager.
    • Hoarding Requirements: Arranging hoarding, if required, after approval from the Sales Manager and subsequent arrangement by the Factory Manager.
