Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a stock controller to manage the ordering and receipt of indirect services and other ad hoc items, maintain stock records and support material planning to ensure on-time delivery.

You will perform weekly cycle counts, create purchase orders, monitor supplier delivery dates, and compile reports for management. The role supports monthly stock takes and requires a relevant tertiary qualification and 2+ years of stock/procurement experience.

• Stock control and stores management experience in food manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years stores/stock control/procurement experience.
• A relevant tertiary qualification degree.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store manufactured stock in warehouse and update system.
• Update all relevant systems.
• Create Purchase orders.
• Ensure requisitions are aligned with policy and procedures.

• Support the placing of orders for packaging and ingredients timeously.

The job at a glance Responsible for ordering of Indirect services & other Adhoc items; manage stock variance reports; support material planning in order to ensure on time delivery; manage day to day 3rd party requirements and the administration of stock, receiving and issuing of orders and monitor payment of all accounts.
