About The Role

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Stores Assistant (Receiving) with strong administrative skills to manage the documentation and coordination side of our receiving process.

In this vital role, you'll inspect deliveries, ensure accurate documentation, and keep our operations flowing smoothly from the moment stock arrives. While the role involves occasional handling of physical stock, it is primarily administrative in nature, with a strong emphasis on inventory system management, data entry, and documentation control.

What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Accurately receive all incoming aviation parts, components, raw materials, and equipment in accordance with company and aviation industry standards.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and packing lists for accuracy in quantity, quality, and part numbers.
  • Perform visual inspections for any damages or discrepancies.
  • Ensure all received items are correctly labelled, documented, and entered into the inventory management system (e.g., ERP).
  • Coordinate with Quality Control for technical inspections where applicable.
  • Ensure traceability and proper documentation of aviation-specific items requiring serial/batch number tracking and certification.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 3 years experience in a stores or warehouse environment (aviation or technical field preferred)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, inventory/ERP software experience)
  • Proven experience with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, document filing, and working with inventory or ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
