Do you take pride in precision and keeping teams equipped to perform at their best? We're looking for a Storesperson (Issuing) to manage the timely and accurate distribution of stock and materials.

In this key role, you'll ensure the accurate and timely issuing of aviation parts, tools, and materials required for engineering, maintenance, and R&D operations.

Making sure the right components get to the right hands-keeping projects on track and operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Accurately issue aviation parts, tools, and consumables based on approved job cards.
  • Ensure that only authorised personnel receive issued items and that all necessary sign-offs are obtained.
  • Verify part numbers, serial/batch numbers, and serviceability status before issuing components.
  • Record all issued items in the inventory system and update stock levels in real-time.
  • Adhere to traceability protocols, especially for controlled items such as aircraft components.
  • Ensure that only certified and airworthy items are issued and escalate any discrepancies to Quality Control.
  • Maintain issue logs and documentation for auditing and compliance with aviation regulatory standards.
  • Monitor returns or unused items and update the inventory system accordingly.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 4years experience in a stores or warehouse environment (aviation or technical field preferred)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, inventory/ERP software experience)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in issuing parts/tools in a highly regulated industry (e.g., Aerospace, Defence, Manufacturing)
