Overview

Job Title: Stores & Warehouse Manager

Type: Full-Time (7:00 – 16:30)

Steelco is seeking an experienced and reliable Stores & Warehouse Manager to lead our internal warehouse operations. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in an environment where accuracy, systems, people management, and customer service all come together.

Role Overview

The Stores & Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the full spectrum of warehouse functions including receiving, stock handling, machinery maintenance, staff supervision, and in-store customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate receiving, colour coding, and storage of stock.
• Liaise daily with Logistics to supply stock for dispatch and manage customer returns.
• Lead manufacturing processes including cutting and bending of steel and rebar.
• Conduct stock counts, spot checks, and resolve discrepancies in liaison with HOD.
• Supervise warehouse team, monitor performance and absenteeism, and initiate disciplinary processes when necessary.
• Manage procurement of consumables and PPE, and ensure machinery is serviced regularly.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping, health & safety compliance, and customer service standards.
