Storeman

A construction company is seeking a Storeman to join their team.

Minimum Requirements :

• Proven qualifications and / or certificates in Stores will be a distinct advantage
• Relevant industry experience in motor vehicle spares or machinery spares
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle
• Computer Literate - MS Office

Job Responsibilities :

• Accurately receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the quantity and quality of materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and easy accessibility.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system. Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to internal and external customers.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment as needed.
• Work closely with other team members, including purchasing, production, and logistics staff, to ensure seamless operations
