Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

Generic Objectives

  • Maintain adequate levels of technical and non-technical stock.
  • Possess technical knowledge and understanding of stock items and their use in building maintenance.
  • Ensure that stock in the stores is secured and kept in an orderly and tidy fashion.
  • Receive and issue stock in accordance with company procedures.
  • Physically move stock, pack the store, and issue stock.
  • Conduct regular stock counts.
  • Ensure accurate recording of stock received and issued using the stock management system, especially the Infor EAM modules.

Stock Control

  • Implement effective stock control to minimize shrinkage, measured through stock audits.

Feedback

  • Provide feedback and critical observations to the Store Supervisor regarding daily issues and performance.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Maintain a high level of customer service.

ISO Standards – 9001, 14001, and 45001

  • Adhere to TFS’s SHEQ policies and procedures related to safety, health, environment, and quality management systems.

Ad Hoc

  • Perform any reasonable actions requested by management.
