Job summary

A leading automotive company in Durban is looking for a Logistics worker to handle material reception and unpacking. This role involves ensuring the supply of parts to the production line and adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates should have a Matric certificate, basic computer skills, and some experience in logistics or the automotive industry. Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 required, tertiary education is advantageous.

What You Will Do

The main purpose of the job is to receive, unpack, and supply the material to the production line.

Reporting: This role will report to the Logistics Team Leader.

Job Objectives
  • Receive and unpack the parts from the containers.
  • Linefeed the unpacked material according to various stages/PA.
  • Inform the TL of any deviations while doing the unpacking of parts from cases.
  • Carry out 5S and Housekeeping standards in your area.
  • Adhere to safe working practices at all times.
  • Carry out other tasks as requested from time to time.
  • Participate and contribute in all other Logistics related activities.
  • From time to time, you may be requested to work overtime.
