Job description

Our client is a well-established family-run business specializing in structured cabling solutions, including fibre optics, copper networking, enclosures, security systems, and electrical components. They are looking for a hands-on Storeman who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and ensures the efficient management of stock and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Stock Control & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records on SAGE, conduct stock takes, and monitor stock levels.
  2. Receiving & Dispatching: Handle incoming stock deliveries, verify accuracy, and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
  3. Warehouse Organisation: Keep the store neat, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  4. Procurement Support: Assist in monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers for replenishments.
  5. Deliveries: Make deliveries when required.
  6. Equipment & Tools Management: Ensure tools and equipment are stored correctly and in working order.
  7. General Warehouse Duties: Assist with operational tasks to maintain efficiency.
Job Requirements
  • Matric (Essential)
  • Tertiary qualification (Advantageous)
  • SAGE experience (Essential)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willing to travel
  • Residing in or around Brakpan / Boksburg
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist in all areas of operations
