Job description

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  1. Repairing and maintenance in Hotel and Deck departments related to maintenance in all public spaces, open deck, and lounges, including safety aspects.
  2. Monitoring material inventories and receiving purchase orders (PO).
  3. Updating material storage and inventories.
  4. Issuing material requisitions under Deck and Hotel departments, utilizing technical knowledge.
  5. Reporting missing spare parts, verifying correct delivery, and coordinating with the Superior and Procurement department for needed materials.
  6. Sharing inventories and materials lists with ashore personnel, including the Hotel Superintendent and Hotel Surveyor.
  7. Sharing inventories and materials lists with ashore RT Leaders related to scheduled works during RT Group periods onboard.
  8. Checking inventory of tools for Furniture & Interiors Team.
  9. In emergency cases, supporting the Deck and Engine teams as the Hotel Technical Storekeeper.
  10. Supporting all Furniture & Interior Officer Teams under the Facility Manager and Furniture Interiors Officer instructions as needed.
  11. Assisting the F&I Officer and Facility Manager in material list inventories and storage control.
  12. Monitoring and controlling hotel stores to ensure proper order and inventory.

Supports an effective and sustainable health and safety culture onboard, strictly follows HESS regulations and all health and safety protocols to prevent disease spread, and reports any violations to the Head of Department.
