Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all administrative procedures and systems, ensuring a strong internal control environment through the implementation of policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and Self-Audit processes.

What you will love doing in this role

  1. Drive Operational Efficiencies:
  2. Plan and execute financial stock takes.
  3. Ensure showroom processes (inventory, receiving, and frontline) adhere to legal regulations.
  4. Align showroom merchandise with the current product catalogue.
  5. Merchandise products according to visual guidelines.
  6. Manage showroom productivity across all areas to drive sales.
  7. Develop timely action plans to address and resolve deficiencies.
  8. Stock Management:
  9. Ensure efficient stock control processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
  10. Oversee stock taking and counts within the store.
  11. Cash Management:
  12. Implement efficient cash handling procedures (counting, recounting, reconciling discrepancies, making deposits).
  13. Investigate cash shrinkage, counterfeit currency, and discrepancies in safe and bank balances.
  14. Reduce cash exposure to prevent robberies and burglaries.
  15. Track cash flow between POS and the safe.
  16. People Management:
  17. Provide training on internal controls and educate staff on store risks.
  18. Offer coaching and guidance to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance.
  19. Reporting:
  20. Deliver timely reports on the internal control framework and address deficiencies.
  21. Health and Safety Compliance:
  22. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the store.
