The main purpose is to drive and grow the profitability of the Store through the effective management of its employees, financial, and technological resources, and ensuring efficient application of the company's policies and procedures and management best practice in order to exceed all stakeholders' expectations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure continuity, growth, and profitability of the Store through the management of costs and the maximization of sales turnover and returns.
2. Identify new business opportunities, take calculated risks, and generate innovative and creative ideas for implementing new business opportunities and maximizing sales.
3. Planning and budgeting with the Operations Executive and Regional Operations Manager.
4. Procurement, stock control, and merchandising.
5. Maintain stock variances.
6. Ensure that the Store budget is compiled with.
7. Accountability for the day-to-day operations, administration, customer sales and service, and overall management and control of the branch employees.
8. Analyse operational information and inspire, motivate, guide, develop, manage, and lead employees.
9. Ensure legal compliance with all legislation.
10. Uphold and promote the company values and culture.

Job Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Grade 12.
2. 5-10 years retail experience.
3. 3 years in a junior-mid level management experience.
4. Industry-related experience is advantageous.
5. Knowledge of procurement, stock control, and merchandising.
6. Knowledge of merchandising principles.
7. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act.
