Job description

A Store Manager will lead a team of passionate associates in maximizing store sales/turnover, ensuring the stock loss benchmark is maintained, and managing the administration of the store.

  1. Manage stock and control expenses to meet business targets.
  2. Achieve and/or exceed the required targets set for the store.
  3. Use store resources effectively to maintain store productivity.
  4. Have thorough knowledge of stock management, policies, and procedures.
  5. Act as the custodian of all company policies and procedures to ensure standards are met.
  6. Take accountability for managing and training all staff.
  7. Maintain the company culture by treating staff respectfully and professionally.
  8. Ensure all customer interactions result in above-average customer service levels.
  9. Monitor store cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company standards.
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12; Mathematics is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail store management or as an assistant store manager, preferably in a similar retail environment.
  • Excellent business English, both verbal and written.
