As a store room and stock manager at Red Bull South Africa, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of stock and inventory for office and event needs. This includes ensuring that stock levels are maintained, replenishing stock as required, and managing merchandise for various events. Your role is critical in ensuring that the office and events run smoothly with all necessary supplies and merchandise readily available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory.
- Monitor stock movements and ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations.
- Manage storage and organization of stock within the store room.
- Implement and enforce stock control procedures.
- Manage expired stock and ensure proper disposal.
- Receive goods from suppliers and verify against purchase orders.
Replenishment of Stock for Office and Events
- Assess stock requirements for the office and upcoming events.
- Place orders for stock replenishment in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
- Ensure that all stock is appropriately labeled and easily accessible.
- Work closely with the office and events teams to forecast stock needs.
Events Logistics & Merchandise
- Oversee DHL package packing and dispatch.
- Pre-pack items for events and manage post-event breakdown and return of stock to the office.
- Coordinate merchandise preparation and distribution for events.
- Track merchandise usage and provide reports on event performance.
- Ensure bar area stock is maintained and organized.
- Dispose of outdated or damaged uniforms appropriately.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of merchandise for events.
- Ensure that merchandise is adequately stocked and displayed at events.
- Manage the logistics of transporting merchandise to event locations.
Efficiency & Process
- Provide improvement processes to each workflow within the management of the storeroom.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in stock management or inventory control.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to event locations as needed.
- The ability to time manage and to optimize effectiveness and efficiency, ability to organize assigned work with strong administrative skills.
- Strong customer service and satisfaction with both internal and external customers
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25 kg.
- Comfortable working in warehouse and event environments.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, or weekends during events (if required)
