Store Manager - Secunda Fish Shop (6 Months Contract)

You will be responsible for the daily running of the store.

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure full compliance with all aspects of daily store operations.
  2. Minimize risks across all departments.
  3. Lead and supervise staff management.
  4. Provide daily and weekly updates on key KPIs to the Area Manager.
  5. Manage cash and handle general administration.
  6. Oversee stock management.
  7. Drive sales to meet group budgets.
  8. Implement new strategies and initiatives effectively.
  9. Report continuously on key performance areas.
  10. Promote the SeaHarvest brand effectively.
  11. Optimize store operations and evaluate store layout.
  12. Obtain relevant approvals.
  13. Ensure correct utilization of IT systems.
Requirements, Skills, and Competencies
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Tertiary qualification in Retail or Business Management is advantageous.
  • Good process and product knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Adherence to Pre-Placement Analysis standards.
  • Proactive and customer service-oriented.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
