VACANCY

SECUNDA FISH SHOP

6 MONTHS CONTRACT

The following vacancy exists at our FISH SHOP in SECUNDA. Those interested are requested to apply in writing after having consulted with their immediate supervisor:

JOB TITLE: STORE MANAGER

REPORTING TO: OPERATIONAL MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE: You will be responsible to manage the day to day running of the store.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Secure full compliance in all aspects of the daily store operations.
  2. Minimizing the risk in all departments of your store.
  3. Staff Management: Lead and supervise.
  4. Daily and weekly updates on main KPIs to Area Manager.
  5. Cash Management and general administration.
  6. Stock Management.
  7. Driving Sales to achieve group budgets.
  8. Effective implementation of new strategies/initiatives.
  9. Ongoing reporting to Key Performance Area and flow constantly.
  10. Promote SeaHarvest brand optimally.
  11. Optimise store operations and evaluate store layout.
  12. Relevant approvals to be done.
  13. Ensure that IT systems are utilised correctly.

REQUIREMENTS SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:

  1. Grade 12.
  2. Tertiary Retail/Business Management qualification would be an advantage.
  3. Good process and product knowledge.
  4. Ability to function independently and work under pressure.
  5. To adhere to the standards of a PrePlacement Analysis.
  6. Be proactive and customer service orientated.
  7. Self-motivated.
  8. Team player with excellent leadership skills.
  9. Attention to detail is imperative.
