Job summary

STYLE is seeking a Store Manager to oversee day-to-day store activities, drive sales and ensure smooth, efficient operations. You will lead staff, implement store strategies, manage budgets, and maintain stock, housekeeping and visual standards to provide a premium shopping experience.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training, supervising teams, handling customer queries, pricing and stock control, and ensuring health and safety compliance while meeting targets in a busy shopping centre

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent.
• 3–5 years retail experience as an Assistant Manager/Supervisor.
• Computer literate.
• Good communication skills.
• Further qualifications related to retail/business will be an advantage.
• Outstanding customer care skills, ability to interact and communicate with customers.
• Accurate and efficient till operation skills.
• High standard of work on the sales floor, dedication in maintaining quality standards/housekeeping.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

• Knowledge of VM strategy in stock intensity and SKU availability.
• Good planning, delegation, and team leadership.

• Maintaining statistical and financial records (Daily, weekly and monthly administration).
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints.
• Overseeing pricing and stock control.
• Maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets, including motivating staff.
• Visual Merchandising & Housekeeping.
• Inventory Management (Stock Management).
• Ensure The Base equipment is secured and accounted for.
• Be aware of health & safety rules.
• Understand The Base daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
• Produce a The Base specific action plan to minimize stock loss.

STYLE is seeking to employ a Store Manager who will be responsible for day-to-day activities. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.

Their duties include motivating sales teams, creating business (store specific) strategies, implementing promotional material, managing controllable expenses, training new staff, also providing customers with a pleasant shopping experience through product knowledge, stock availability, excellent housekeeping, latest fashion trends, and minimizing stock losses.
