Storage Specialist

Our client, a leader in the Road Transport Solutions space, has a permanent position for a Storage Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Storage, SAN, and Compute hardware by providing OEM best practices through designing, implementing, and deploying shared system resources, such as disks and networking.

Responsibilities include performance analysis, troubleshooting, data recovery strategies for critical systems, and data backup measures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Undergraduate degree/diploma in IT or currently working towards completing a Degree/Diploma in IT
• Experience and certifications with various hardware vendors
• ITIL certification
• A+ and N+ Certifications
• 5+ years of experience in an Enterprise IT Environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• IT Enterprise size DR, planning, implementation, and maintenance
• Managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ I, experience or certification
• Managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ II, experience or certification
• Implementing MSA Storage Solutions, experience or certification
• Brocade SAN Enterprise Experience, experience or certification

Knowledge and Experience:

• Systems and Systems Integration
