What will you do?

1. Maintain the monthly accounting records, including processing and reconciliation of transactions.
2. Assist with monthly debt collection where appropriate.
3. Prepare payment packs, including relevant supporting documentation.
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.
5. Prepare monthly and annual balance sheet reconciliations.
6. Assist with statutory requirements, e.g. preparation of resolutions and minutes.
7. Support the annual audit process by preparing relevant documentation.
8. Contribute to the development and integration of financial systems and processes.
9. Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
10. Provide ad-hoc support to various members of the finance team.

What do you need?

1. Bachelor's degree in financial accounting required.
2. SAICA articles preferred.
3. Working knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
4. Strong technical accounting, analytical and communication skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced excel skills preferred).
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
7. Effective planning, organizational and time-management skills.
