Job summary

Peoplefinder Career Placements represents a retailer seeking a Stock Forecaster to ensure optimum stock levels. The role focuses on coordinating supplier accounts, analyzing item parameters, and setting data-driven forecast patterns to maximize profitability and service levels.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, at least 2 years of experience, strong Excel skills (advanced), and proven planning, leadership and communication abilities to drive accurate forecasting and efficient

Qualifications

• Matric with a relevant degree.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Must be computer literate (Excel – Advanced would be advantageous).
• Product and market knowledge.
• Ability to cope under pressure.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership skills.

Our client in the Retail Industry requires the services of a Stock Forecaster to ensure optimum stock levels.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key performance areas:

• System coordination for supplier accounts optimize most profitable order patterns / frequency
• Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting results
• Place supplier purchase orders to ensure achievement of inventory and service
• Promotional planning and replenishment
• Project management
• Data analysis and reporting

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

• Matric with a relevant degree
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience would be advantageous
