Job summary

A client in the Automotive Industry is seeking 2 Stock Controllers for their branches in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years' experience in Dealership Stock Control, along with strong organizational, operational support, and communication skills to enhance stock management processes. Excellent engagement with staff and suppliers, of high digital literacy with DMS and MS Office will be essential.

Qualifications

• Stock Management experience + 3 years (compulsory).
• Experience in Corporate Dealership and Pre-Owned Vehicles.
• Knowledge of Payable Accounts Processes.

Job description

Our client within the Automotive Industry requires the services of 2 x Stock Controllers at two of their branches in Johannesburg.

Minimum Qualification :

• Stock Management experience + 3 years (compulsory)
• Experience in Corporate Dealership and Pre-Owned Vehicles
• Knowledge of Payable Accounts Processes (Suppliers)
• Invoice Management and Floorplan Management skills
• Dealer Management System (DMS) experience – Evolve preferred

Experience :

At least 3 years’ experience as a Dealership Stock Controller is required.

Role Description :

Provide excellent service to ensure seamless stock and supplier management processes. The role requires high organization, operational, budgeting, communication, planning, time management, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage new and pre-owned vehicle stock
• Handle demo and fleet management
• Oversee floorplan and invoice management
• Manage Natis and trade-in processes

Additional Responsibilities :

• Coordinate vehicle ordering and stock reporting
• Ensure proper vehicle reporting and documentation on Evolve
• Manage vehicle arrivals, location updates, and key/barcode management
• Fitting trackers and registering VIN/NVR upon vehicle departure
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report faults promptly
• Manage vehicle swaps, warranty repairs, and reporting of sales
