In this role, your responsibilities include overseeing daily stock management, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet the demands of the FMCG environment.

You will manage all stock movements, including receiving and returns, and investigate variances.

The role requires close coordination with Supervisors, Demand Planners, and in-store staff to ensure efficient stock flow and minimal operational disruptions.

A strong understanding of inventory systems, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success.

Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, replenish items, and conduct regular stock takes.
  2. Order Processing: Coordinate receipt and processing of incoming orders, ensuring timely fulfillment.
  3. Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on incoming stock for compliance, damages, or discrepancies.
  4. Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors, coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and negotiate terms.
  5. Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe, implementing proper storage practices.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on inventory and stock discrepancies, recommending improvements.
  7. Compliance and Security: Adhere to safety standards, prevent loss or theft, and ensure regulatory compliance.
