Job description

A vacancy exists for a Stock Controller at Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital. The successful candidate will report to the Unit Manager in the Poplar Ward (Medical), Charmaine Christian. Strong administration and organisational skills are essential for this position.

Critical Outputs

1. Conducting stock control duties as delegated by the Unit Manager, including management of surgical and ethical stock, ordering stock, managing stock levels, stocktaking, and employee orientation to stock management processes.
2. Managing billing processes such as billing stock, updating nursing cards, and closing files.
3. Verifying weekly service charges against PPDs.

Additional Responsibilities

• Coordinate with bed bookings, inter-departmental and inter-facility transfers, and patient movements.
• Assist with staff planning and administrative duties, including answering telephones.

• Experience or training in data capturing and stock control is advantageous.
